Synopsis: Prison movie. In 1946 Andy, a banker, is sent to prison accused of the murder of his wife. He makes friends with another man, Red, who is also in for life. Andy's accountancy skills are discovered and he is used by the wardens to hide money in a false account for a programme they are running. Over the years Andy always has a poster of the pin-up of the decade in his cell, but the posters are more significant than is at first apparent...
